Sales and Design Territory Manager

King’s Kitchen, LLC is growing, and we want you to be part of it! We have an immediate opening for a Sales and Design Territory Manager at our Tacoma, WA showroom! Responsibilities:

  • Develops assigned leads from marketing activities in assigned territory (sales driven as well as company provided)
  • Covers showroom during all assigned times as well as partial home office
  • Develops cabinetry plan with client | sketch & 2020 design for final details
  • Interactively develops budget eventually securing design deposit.
  • Measures space to determine feasibility of design and installation and edits plans and cabinet estimates accordingly.
  • With help from design assistant, estimates complete projects including installation and other subcontracted materials and services.
  • Helps client select materials and reviews all drawings and sales documents
  • Closes jobs, securing signed agreements, specifications, plans and deposits
  • Completes any revisions of plans, materials, and contracts after closing
  • Prepares Sales Projection Reports for management
  • Assists in job supervision with lead installer/GC, briefing the installer and maintaining communication between the GC and the client throughout the project.
  • Conducts “substantial completion meeting” with client and installer/GC, creating final “punch list” ensuring complete client satisfaction.
  • Assists Accounts Receivable Position in collections of payments.
  • Maintains active and consistent Client Development Program for specified cold calls and resource manual updates.
  • Completes Sales Achievement Record, Account Development Report and updates on lead system.
  • Attends all training and sales meetings.
  • Maintains constant program of self-improvement, reading trade journals, attending SEN/Industry educational courses, and pursuing CKD certifications.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years documented experience in kitchen design and utilizing 2020 design program.
  • Must have own reliable transportation.

 

Compensation: Commission based role with 1 month of full-time paid training!

Project Manager – Job Description

 

King's Kitchen is the Premier Kitchen Design & Cabinet Firm, specializing in high quality cabinetry for the residential and commercial construction industry in the greater Pierce County area. Our company is experiencing tremendous growth and is hiring for a result-oriented Project Manager to drive the communication between the Company and its customers. Top candidates will understand that the Project Manager is a main point of contact for the company, meaning the accuracy of every word and every detail is essential. Top candidates will have the ability to plan and execute, be knowledgeable in interpreting blueprints, are well versed in cabinetry, have a proven track record of on time delivery of projects, customer satisfaction, and timely correspondence with external and internal customers. This is a high stress job, full of responsibility, with daily challenges that require problem solving and thinking on your feet.

Experience

  • Knowledge of the residential and commercial construction industry.
  • Technical knowledge of blueprints and construction of cabinetry is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Project Manager role or similar remodeling experience.

 

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Schedule upcoming projects and confirm with sub-contractors and clients
  • Jobsite meeting at beginning of most projects and throughout to meet with clients and / or subcontractors to clarify specific project requirements
  • Follow up on materials with team and ensure materials are on site when needed, will need to drop off partial material parts him / her -self
  • Track project performance in terms of budget and timeline, solve upcoming problems that may arise on site
  • Be able to touch up minor parts of installed cabinets, install & hang replacement doors & drawers as needed
  • Be capable of adjusting cabinet hardware on site
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Report & escalate to management as needed
  • Manage relation between clients & stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish & maintain relationships with third party vendors and contractors
  • Create & maintain comprehensive project documentation

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management or related field is desired or minimum 2 years proven working experience in Project or Construction Management. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be willing to go above and beyond if the project requires it. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

OTHER SKILLS: All standard office equipment including phone, copier, printer, calculator, ten key, and computer. Applicant should be proficient with all Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word and E-mail. Other engineering tools include but not limited to a variety of rulers and templates.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Standing/Walking will vary between 4-6 hours per day. Use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, particularly reading that may be very fine print.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • The employee will be required to travel which may involve sitting for long periods of time.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT: All established safety rules must be followed, and equipment used where required. This will include safety glasses and hearing protection.

Job Type: Full-time | Salary: Starting at $65,000 / year. Salary & benefits negotiable depending on experience & candidate.
